Snow!

This week we had our first snow fall of the year (and hopefully last...). Overall we probably had about 2 - 3 inches, which is a lot for this area. Since snow isn't a frequent occurrence we bundled Nick up and took him out to play!
He liked the snow much better than he did last year. That could also be in large part to the fact that he was much better dressed.
He climbed/crawled all over our small patch of grass and got covered in snow! He was having so much fun he didn't want to go inside!

Hanging Around

Nick unfortunately got this nasty stomach bug a week or so ago, which resulted in lots of hanging out around the house and snuggling. He was super sweet and just wanted to cuddle one night, so of course we had to document this.
And as usual, he refused to actually look at the camera... although he did sort of look towards it with a smile.
Nick has decided that our bed is the best place to sleep and now constantly asks us to sleep in Daddy's bed.
Doesn't he look comfy? It's a shame we made him sleep in his own room and bed.

Birthday party time

A few weeks ago we went to Boingo Bounce to celebrate Miss Vivi's 3rd birthday! Essentially the place has a bunch of really big blow up bounce and slide things. Nick was super afraid of them all in the beginning, but once I joined him he got totally into it.
There was a bounce area reserved for children under 5 that was smaller than the other ones. Nick preferred this one, because it was so much easier for him to climb on everything!
Anxiously waiting for his cake! Although, he has decided that it's not so much the cake he's into as the frosting. He literally scooped the frosting off of the cake!

More Lights of the Ozarks

We decided to go and see the Lights of Ozarks one last time before they took them down this year. Thankfully it was a pretty warm night. As usual, Nick loved to walk around and see all of the different lights.
He even managed to look pretty much at the camera while simultaneously smiling and keeping his eyes open. It was a banner evening!
He loved walking through the tree made out of lights. He must have walked through it about 20 times before we had to make him stop so another child could have their picture taken.
