Finally some updates

So I have totally been a blog slacker lately and I can't believe that it's been almost a month since I posted an update. In fairness, work has been crazy busy with preparing to dedicate and open our newest outpatient clinic in Branson, MO. The dedication is tomorrow!! Anyway, here is what you've all been waiting for.... more pictures!
Nick is getting so good at standing. As you can see he only needs to hold on to things with one hand now. He can also walk while holding onto something. He prefers the ottoman in the living room.
This is currently my favorite onesie. Eric bought it for Nick a few weeks back and I couldn't have picked out a better one myself!
More standing
Today we went to lunch at Jason's deli. A few weeks ago when we were there, Nick was sitting on Eric's lap and kept grabbing things off of his plate. Chips, bread, and of course the pickle. Well it turns out that Nick LOVES pickles. Kind of odd. But he loves them.

By the end, the pickle was so small and chewed down that I took it away from him, I didn't want any choking. Nick threw the biggest fit. He cried so hard there were tears rolling down his face. The boy truly loves his pickles.
Finally here's a video from yesterday... Nick has learned a new skill, how to play ball! It is super cute and the puppies are definitely going to love it when he gets a little better.

Shoes

With the cooler temperatures this week I decided that it was time for Nick to wear some shoes. We pulled out these super cute ones that he was given awhile back and much to my surprise they still fit him!

Nick seemed to think that wearing shoes meant that you have to kick your feet a lot in excitment... it was really funny.
And then of course you need to grab them and rub them with your fingers...
Followed by the inevitable chewing/sucking on them. They must taste good, yum! Nick made it through half of the day wearing shoes and it wasn't until that afternoon that he kicked one off and was pulling at the other. Baby steps.
